There are 2 ways to adjust the JPEG compression quality: Home > Tutorial Index > Adjust JPEG Compression Quality

You can adjust the JPEG compression quality when you resize and convert your photos.

Method 1

1. Choose File > TWAIN > Output Setting.... (Shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+O)

   

2. In the Output Setting dialog box, select JPEG as the image format.
3. Click on the Options... button.

   

4. In the JPEG Options dialog box, change the Compression Quality and other options to suit your needs.

   

5. Click OK to save changes.

Method 2

1. Choose Tools > Options.... Click on the Image Formats tag. (Shortcut: Alt+O)

   

2. Select the JPEG image format.

   

3. Click on the Options button.
4. In the JPEG Options dialog box, change the Compression Quality and other options to suit your needs.

   

5. Click OK to save changes.
