You can acquire and save any image or take a snap shot
of your desktop using the screen capture tool. The image you captured
is shown immediately in the Explorer Window. You can then rename
the newly saved image to another name.
To use the screen capture tool:
- Choose File > TWAIN > Output Setting. Select the file format and the location for the output file. Click OK to save your setting.

- Choose File > Acquire > Screen Capture... (Shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+S)

- The Screen Capture dialog box appears with a camera icon in it.

- To capture the whole screen, click OK.
- To capture a portion of the screen, click and drag the camera icon to the area you would like to capture.
- When the area you would like to capture is selected by a rectangle box, release your mouse click button.
- The image will be saved and display in the Explorer window automatically.
Note: You can set a higher JPEG compression quality
by selecting JPG format Output Setting dialog box and click
on the Options... button. In the JPEG Option dialog box,
change the Compression Quality and other options to suit your
needs.

Using the Print Screen button on the keyboard
To capture the whole screen:
- Choose File > Acquire > Output Setting. Select the file format for the output file. Click OK to save your setting.
- Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard to capture
the desktop image.
- Select a folder where you want the image to be saved. Then choose Edit > Paste (shortcut: Ctrl+V) to paste the image to the folder.
To capture an active window:
- Choose File > Acquire > Output Setting. Select the file format for the output file. Click OK to save your setting.
- Press and hold the Alt key when you press the Print Screen button.
- Select a folder where you want the image to be saved. Then choose Edit > Paste (shortcut: Ctrl+V) to paste the image to the folder.
